Hello Nathaniel,

This is a pleasant surprise, "Chinatown" is my favorite Polanski's film (I know... you prefer "Rosemary's Baby" but I hope you don't mind) and I think that Jack Nicholson and Faye Dunaway - together - are one of the sexiest and more believable screencouples ever.

A question,
Don't you think that Faye outshines - a little bit - Jack in this film noir classic?

But really? A snapshot of moral rot and political corruption today? Are you trying to provide a sense of tonal counterpoint? :)

This looks like a Nov. 5th portrait of John and Cindy McCain.

It's funny that you post this. On Californication, one of the characters has gotten involved in the porn biz and they are shooting a take-off on Chinatown called...well...Vaginatown.

I watch Chinatown at least once a year. Just love to remind myself of its brilliance.

what happened to Faye Dunaway's career? She really is a very good actress w great star qualities....ala angelina. it couldn't have just been "mommie" that did in her career. she never really did anything in film after "network" that lived up to her potential. I saw her in "master class" - not only was she very good - she was spectaluar looking in person. but what happened? lots of schlock in the last 10-15 years. very sad.
