Easily one of the best scenes of all time. Stewart is outstanding in this film, giving one of my favorite male performances.

so appropriate, on this day. I was just thinking how surreal it is, that real life has suddenly matched and surpassed all those great liberal political fantasies, from Capra to the West Wing. Thank you Obama, for bridging that gap. the world has been reclaimed...

Glorious film, only one other movie has made me feel so ecstatic and hopeful about democracy, this year's "John Adams".

That's the all time great American movie about the little guy who suffers much but beats the big guy in the end....and with a great pitch for the beauty of democracy at its best. Makes Joe the Plumber seem like so much phoney baloney.
