First and Last #21

The first image after the title and the last image before the credits scroll

Can you name the movie?
Highlight for the answer: It's Pawel Pawlikowsky's MY SUMMER OF LOVE (2004) with cinematography by Ryszard Lenczewski. The film that introduced most of us to Emily Blunt.

UGH I actually knew this one and thought it wouldn't be taken this quickly. *pouts*

Yes. all three of you are correct.

i thought this one would be harder even if it's a recent movie. how kind of this movie to introduce me to Nathalie Press and Emily Blunt!

Such a good movie. Paddy Considine needs more more work.

I love you Nat but I hate these series. Please don't post it.

I'd love to see Natalie Press in more as well. I was looking forward to seeing her in the Bronte biopic that was being planned but it seems like that's dead in the water now.

Nathan, definitely keep doing these. This is such a smart, fun, interactive feature, and it's as relevant to any movie discussion as the first and last sentences of a novel is to any literary discussion.

Hell, I'd patent the idea while you still can.

As with all other subjects on this blog, readers are always free to skip them and move on to other things they enjoy. This one seems to be a keeper, at least until the novelty wears off (if it ever does).

I WOULD LIKE TO SEE A CLASSIC OSCAR CLIP COLLECTION LIKE SHOWING A PERF NOMINATED AND THE CLIP NAT THINKS IS OSCAR CLIP STUFF LIKE SISSY SMASHING PLATES .

I agree with Ripley, favorite moments from Oscar nominated performances. Though I still love this series :)

Yeah, keep doing these. And if anything, the recent movies are harder for me.

Here I thought it was Molvern Callar.

I voted "Don't like it. I skip these posts" only because I don't have a memory for quotation (whether verbal or pictorial) - something that is necessary to be able to participate in these posts - and I'm jealous of all you lot who do!

You can't control it when you're alone in the shower and your tears and the water get together, you can't control it and if you can, that's because you're a superhero. Believe me, it's super exciting but nothing less than extraordinary.

This feeling inside makes me write here.
